Happy 4 Months Aria!

Aria turned 4 months old this week, thus marking her entrance into the super-cute-AND-fun phase of baby. 0-3 Months is usually everyone just figuring out how to survive, at least that's what we learned with Roland. Once you hit the 4 month mark, everything just seems to get better and better!

Aria is a robust little baby, as you can see, just like her brother. Her development is hourly lately. She is extremely aware, enthralled with the dogs, especially Zeus, and enamored, still, with Roland. We'll never know why, but he owes her big time for putting up with all the toddler-crap he's putting us all through. She can almost sit up on her own, and sits up independently when reclining (then topples over to one side). She likes her toes and to chew on her hands, she looks around at everything, and is reaching – and grabbing – everything she can see. She talks beautifully, and still sings to us. She likes to flirt with you if you’ll give her eye contact. She giggles and giggles and giggles when you make silly faces at her, tickle her belly, make gross-strange noises, and on and on. She laughs hard and loud, when you really get her going, but unlike her brother - this doesn't seem to give her hiccups. She still loves her baths and gets SO excited when the waters running and you start taking off her clothes. She likes having her hair dried with the hair dryer, enjoys reading books and generally is just a good baby. (Though we’ve noticed that when she wants your attention, she YELLS now instead of fussing...pretty funny.)

Regretfully, she’s growing too fast. Don't they all? Luckily, we’ve updated her closet with the clothes we’ve received (thanks Markana and Lisa) because she’s 4 months wearing some 6 and 12 months outfits. YIKES.

All and all, she’s amazing and wonderful, and we love her!
