Roland's First Photography Gallery

Over the last year, starting somewhere in late January or Feburary, I started giving Roland my camera to take photos. What happened surprised me. First, he was very serious, and carefully listened to instructions. Second, he was very studious about composition and seemed to search for subject matter. Taking a photo, checking it on the LCD screen, taking another, checking, and so on. Third, wow, does the world look weird from the vantage point of someone less than four feet tall. I became fascinated by how everyday experiences looked from his view, and what things he liked to focus on. Some photos are thoughtful, others hilarious. A few just left me confused. You can access the album here. I hope you enjoy this collection of unedited photos taken by Roland H. Throop.
