April Photos

I enjoy taking photos. Sometimes I snap like crazy, sometimes I'll grab just a few - but I would never admit to taking too many. That's like saying you exercise too much, or smile too often. Right. And with these two kids growing so fast how can you not want to capture all these great moments? Just be grateful I haven't gotten into video. Yet.

April was a busy month. If it was a track-and-field event, it was most definitely the 40-yard dash. We started running the minute April Fool's kicked off the month, especially with Sarah and John's oh-so-funny prank. Nice one you two. We had great visits from friends (our other John and Sarah) and of course family, and even snuck in the first boat ride of the season.

For Roland's 5th birthday we had Connor spend the night - a first for both boys! It was a full 24 hours complete with picking up both Dad's at the airport, egg hunts, egg dying, park visits, bike riding, eating out, movies in bed, the works. It was a great time.

We also celebrated Roland's birthday at school, providing a pizza lunch and dinosaur cupcakes for the class. T-Rex sized hit!

Easter had plenty of crafts and a lesson for me, put candy in the eggs next year!

Don't blink or you'll miss it, I turned 33. Tada!

The kids and I enjoyed our first concert - The Fresh Beat Band - at the Ryman!

It never hurts to have a lazy Sunday kite-flying day at the damn.

Brian and the kids were there to greet me when I finished my race.

We took our annual trip to Portland to visit the Crafton farm and pick strawberries. Thanks Jen!

Believe it or not, I took about 580 photos in April, so getting the gallery down to 300 is a pretty impressive task. Interested in seeing more? I hope so! Click here.

All in all, a great - even if quick - month!
