Live on the Green concert series is back, and better than ever! Actually - too good - the lineup is really impressive which translates to bigger crowds, but we're well seasoned and have dates lined up with some wonderful friends, plus...
...we always take a photo from the photo booth! First week we went with a pirate theme, I think. We had swords, a mermaid wig, a seahorse, some skulls, and one very interesting goatee! We tried our best to "Arrrrr!" like pirates!
Nana was our first date of the season and she didn't disappoint, and neither did Moon Taxi - great jam band! We sampled treats from the no-lines food trucks, enjoyed our picnic on the lawn, danced in some bubbles and got soaked to the core in the fountains!
Second session was Kris's 31st birthday and the Lockharts and Owen's joined us for a wonderful night of Delta Spirit (fabulous) and the Wallflowers (very good). Third Session was a fun night just the three of us with Roots of a Rebellion (Naturally, a local tribal band?) Forth night we missed...Alabama Shakes...and VIP tickets to boot! Fifth night with Annie, Alan, Lauren, the Arnold's and HoneyHoney (very impressed) but missed being Trampled by Turtles. (Ha!)
The final night is this week - Spooktacular with Here Come the Mummies! It will be a chilly one, but we can't wait to see all the costumes! Thanks again Nashville for such a fabulous, fun, and free fall outing!
