Sun, sand, seagulls!

So in the small space of our minds sanity still resides we thought it would be a good idea to turn a business trip into a business/vacation trip. With certain expectations in mind we enjoyed having time together while experiencing the great modes of transportation available during a trip such as this. From the car, to the bus, to the plane, to the tram, to the next plane, to the quintessential Florida champagne Grand Marque with leather seats. Escalators, elevators and the wonderful comfort of handy Maclaren Volo Stoller (which travels so well!) it was worth it just for those moments. Brian and I are constantly amazed at Roland's adaptability to new places, people and experiences. Roland is quite aware of planes, trains and trucks, so all this travel was a treat to his vocabulary and senses. While I worked pretty much the entire time, Brian let me know Roland had picked out simple yacht for the family, just a 50 or so footer. They also enjoyed the aquarium, beach and hotel pool. I just enjoyed seeing the evidence of their good times when I returned to the hotel room: swimming trunks, towels, sandwich fixings, etc. For all of us, it was just good to see some palm trees, smell some salty air, and see some ocean.
