With Brian heading off to SoCal today we dedicated Saturday as the ultimate family day. We enjoyed running the dogs at the lake (helping out the stranded Streta band) and then set off to pick some pumpkins. Roland fell asleep in the truck moments after we left the lake so we went for a long drive and picked a different pumpkin patch to explore - and what a great turn of events this was! Walden Farm is the perfect 4-yr-old and under pumpkin place to be. There was just the right amount of animals and pumpkins to explore, see more photos here. After an great time getting licked and pecked by the animals Brian picked out a great pumpkin and we headed home for more playtime, football, and a great dinner. Overall it was the perfect October day. We miss you dad!
