It's cold! We live in Nashville. It's Music City...free day at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Warm up the car! Pack the bags!
CMHF free admission day was great - sponsored by Ford - the staff was fantastic and we had a really good time. Roland was great (read = ran threw the entire facility, tested all the exhibit glass). Brian and I learned much about country music, and we'll learn more when we go without kids. :) It's a beautiful building, and I look forward to dragging my grandparents there next year.
On a side note, related to music, I love to dance. Great thing about having a sweet little baby: guaranteed slow dance partner. Roland is all arms and legs these days and would rather us not interfere his music moments. Sigh. But Aria is little, loves music too, and doesn't seem to mind two-stepping around the living room floor over and over again as I make up lyrics to Siris radio. So gone are the days of late nights and cover charges, loud music and DJs. But welcomed in its place are jukebox hits and cooing infants. Who could ask for a better Saturday night?
