Growing Closer
With each day Aria masters something new, and Roland as well. Once, we had to position, lure and beg the two of them into the chair, now Ari can sit almost on her own and pest the fool out of Roland. She likes to maul the books that he is trying to read, and here, she's desperate for the magnet on the end of the fishing rod. This morning was pretty amazing to look in the rear view mirror and see her little hands attempting to snap off the arms of one of Roland's lizards and his little hands playing with a dinosaur. Sure beat the view of the stand-still traffic in front of me!
This quote reminded me of our life: “It’s surprising how much of memory is built around things unnoticed at the time.” So I am doing my best to capture through words or photographs all the awesome little details of the wonderfully ordinary days. In the sequence in the March folder you'll see where he tries to see if her head is magnetic!
