Roland has been asking for a bunk bed for about, oh, 9 months. Seriously. We told him maybe for Christmas...and searched Craigslist for months with no luck. We found his beauty and concocted a plan of design, assembly, and installation. I can't believe he never saw it in the office, mattress and all, and somehow Brian and Evan assembled it without him hearing a thing during nap time. Needless to say, he loved it! (Aria too!)
We've built a covered flat surface for the top bunk to be a play space until Roland gets older. That being said, we both know we'll be hoisting him down from there, dead asleep, about once a week. So eventually, Roland will get to move to the top bunk, and Aria will get to move out of the crib to the bottom bunk. More fun videos to follow...
