Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year

It's that time again. You know, the let's-take-a-Christmas-photo-with-everyone-in-it-won't-that-be-fun time. And since we just mailed them the day before Christmas Eve - which is a miracle in itself - I can now debut our holiday card WITH the behind the scenes outtakes and commentary. (a $.44 special holiday value!) I know you can barely stand the excitement, so without further delay, here we are, the Throops, all 20 feet of us.

Tada! We did it. Never underestimate the power of Photoshop.

Ellie - great photo and great card! What's most fabulous is that, despite several outtakes, you got everyone in the final product in one click - no sophisticated layer masks (of which I'm sure you're more than capable).

One tip to avoid those "darned timer" outtakes (which, let's face it, are actually pretty funny - AFTER THE FACT) - spend the $20 on the Nikon ML-L3 Infrared Remote. The D80 is compatible and it's a lifesaver for these shots.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
