Honorary member of the Throop family

Roland has learned to whisper, and it's pretty cute. (And about time, that was an extremely hard concept to learn!)

This morning he can silently scooting into the kitchen, put a very straight hand close to his mouth and whispered, "Mom, our bunny is back!" (How can you have an exclamation point in a whisper? It's the hand motions and eye brows that give it emphasis.)

We snuck to the window to see, our honorary new Throop family member, aptly named, Bunny. Bunny really likes our yard. We find him lounging - literally laying like a dog in the front yard - eating clover.

He's there when I get home most nights, and there in the morning when the kids come down for breakfast. He even hung out front with Brian while he talked on the phone - for 30 minutes - to his dad. He's pretty cool and we hope he hangs out all summer long.

*** Update! We saw him again this morning! We renamed him Humphert Nice Bunny Rabbit Throop. I think I'll put out some carrots tonight.
