Flashlight-hide-n-seek!

No photo's for this post, just wanted to record an awesome game we stumbled upon Saturday evening: flashlight-hide-n-seek! Roland and I were washing his hands in the bathroom after dinner and he found our emergency flashlight in the cabinent drawer...hm...what could we do with this? Since it was dark I figured it would be fun to "find" stuff around the house using the flashlight. Before you know it Brian and I are cramming ourselves into very small spaces trying not to be discovered by Roland, the great night explorer! (I'm sure this looked strange to our neighbors - a pitch black house with a crazy toddler running around with a flashlight!) I was pretty impressed with my hiding space in the shoebin, but Brian wins for least expected hiding spot: the kitchen counter! Roland could not quit grinning and LOVED finding the dogs, Mom, Dad, toys, etc. around the house. Soon we'll expand to the entire house when he gets older! We tried to introduce him to shadow puppets, but it's still a bit soon for animal shaped silohettes on the wall! Especially when all we could come up with was a dog eating a bunny rabbit!
